ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Description

This 150 grain flat nose .30 caliber bullet from Sierra was designed for the 30-30 Winchester cartridge. It has a jacket specifically tailored to 30-30 velocities, but it will be effective in any 30 caliber cartridge as long as muzzle velocity stays below 2500 fps. It features a series of “skives” cut into the mouth of the jacket to allow for better expansion at the lower velocities at which it operates, but because of those lower velocities it’s best suited for short to medium range shooting.
