Description

STIHL RAPID Super Full Skip is the skip-pattern version of STIHL RAPID Super. There is an extra drive link and tie straps between each cutter, allowing better chip discharge and higher chain speed. The RSF chain is an extremely fast-cutting chain. The razor-edged, square-cornered cutter shape ensures minimum chain friction for an exceptionally smooth and clean cut in hard or frozen wood. It offers excellent cutting and plunge-cutting efficiency. Since there aren’t as many cutters, RSF chain reduces the amount of time needed for sharpening. RSF chain typically cuts faster than RM chain, but requires careful maintenance and sharpening to continue to perform well. It is especially suited for long bars on large diameter logs, but can be used on short bars as well.

  • The STIHL Rapid Super Full Skip saw chain is a fast-cutting chain that features an extra drive link and tie straps between the cutters to deliver better chip discharge and higher chain speed. It utilizes a razor edge, square corner design on the cutters that minimizes chain friction and vibration, giving you an exceptionally smooth and clean cut. It offers good cutting and plunge-cutting efficiency, and since there aren’t as many cutters on this chain you can spend less time sharpening them.

  • OILOMATIC drive link lubrication slots funnel oil directly to the rivet to reduce wear and save oil
  • Stretched at the factory to eliminate excess adjustments during break in periods
  • Risk of kickback with this chain: only for use by those with experience and training for dealing with kickback
