Description

This 1500 Watt De-Icer from Allied Precision easily converts between a floating, sinking, or drain-plug de-icer. It offers energy-efficient operation that keeps the entire tank free of ice without overheating the water. Recommended for100-300 gallon tanks, it features multiple thermostats that separately monitor water and heating element temperatures to provide efficient and safe operation. It has a sturdy, finned base that spreads heat across the water and allows the unit to remain cool to the touch.
