Placing an Order

Is Buy Online Pick Up in Store available in my area?

We are currently testing this new service in three of our stores – Parker, CO, Littleton, CO and Castle Rock, CO. We look forward to offering it in more of our stores in the future.

Can I buy anything online and pick it up in-store?

Since most of our products are available for pick up, we decided it’d be easier to label the products that aren’t included.

These items are clearly marked as ‘Available in Store Only’ on the website. Items with limited or no stock in your store will also be temporarily unavailable for pickup.

Products that are never available through Buy Online Pick Up in Store include items that have government or brand restrictions, such as firearms, ammo, reloading supplies, and auto batteries. However, you can still check the inventory of these item before you purchase in the store.

Can I pick up some items at the store and have some items shipped to my home?

Yup. However, each order can only contain one shipping address and one store location.

How soon will my order be ready for pick up after I've ordered online?

Rest assured. We will work hard to have your order ready as soon as we can. Typically, this is within two hours. If you place your order after your local store has closed, your order should be ready the next morning. We’ll send you an email as soon as it’s ready for you to pick up.

Is my order ready for pick up?

As soon as your order is ready to come grab, you will receive an email from us with pick-up instructions.

Where should I go to pick up my order once I arrive at the store?

Head to your local store and look for the “Online Order Pick Up” sign. Can’t find it? Don’t be shy. Ask one of our team members for help.

Our Online Order Pick Up counters are typically in the front of the store, but this varies slightly between stores locations.

Once my order is ready, how long will it be available for pickup?

We’ll hold your order for 7 days after you receive your final confirmation email. After 7 days, we will cancel your order and your credit card will not be charged.

What do I need to bring to the store to pick up my order(s)?

Bring your “order ready for pick up” email and present one of the following forms of ID to a team member at the Online Order Pick Up counter. Be sure the ID is valid and has not yet expired.

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • State-issued driver's license
  • State-issued ID card
  • U.S. Passport
  • Military ID
  • Certificate of Citizenship
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Permanent Resident
  • Green Card
  • Native American Travel Photo ID

Who can pick up my order?

If you need to send someone else to pick up your order, list their name as your alternate during the checkout process. This person can pick up your order by presenting their own valid photo ID.

Will my vehicle be large enough to transport my item?

It depends. Order something big? Be sure to hedge your bets by showing up in a big vehicle. Don’t forget to bring tie-downs or bungie cords to secure your larger items or come in and purchase new ones from our wide selection!

Murdoch’s assembles almost all grills, power equipment, outdoor furniture, wheelbarrows, and carts so please be prepared with a vehicle large enough to transport fully assembled items.

For your safety Murdoch’s is happy to load your merchandise. However, you are responsible for securing your loaded product.

Don’t forget to go into the store to complete your purchase.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Contact Customer Service at 1-855-232-9104, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, to cancel any orders.

What if I need to return the item(s) I ordered?

Murdoch's stands behind all of its products. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange. Please visit our Return & Exchange Policy page for more information.

What if the item(s) I ordered is being sold at a lower price at the time of pick up than at the time the original order was placed online?

No worries. Just let us know that you noticed a lower price in the store and we'll adjust the price. After the item has been picked up, we will honor a price adjustment on full-price merchandise (excluding gift cards) within 5 days of the original purchase.
