Why don't you have all your products online?

Adding our inventory to the website is no small feat. We carry over 150,000 products from 5,000 brands. We continue to add new products every day, so please check back frequently to see what’s new to the site. And if you are looking for something in particular, please get in touch with us. We are happy to help you find what you are looking for.

How do I create an account?

You can create an account by clicking here or clicking on ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner of any page. Additionally, after you place an order online, you will be prompted to enter a password to create an account. The information you’ve already provided when placing your order will be used to create your Murdochs.com account.

Why should I sign up for an account?

While you don’t need an account, we recommend you set one up. With an account, you can save multiple shipping addresses, save credit card billing information, and view your order history.

How do I log in to my account?

On a desktop or laptop computer, you can login by simply clicking the 'sign in' button at the top of any page. On mobile devices, the ‘sign in’ button can be found by clicking on the menu icon on the top left of the page. Or, you can just click here. A new page will open, and you will be able to login with the email address and password you used to create your account.

What if I can’t remember my password?

If you are trying to login and can't remember your password, click on the forgot your password link. A new page will open asking for the email address you used to create your account. Once you hit the 'reset password' button, we will send you a link to create a new password.

I need to make changes to my account, how can I do that?

To make changes to your account on our desktop site, hover over your name in the top right corner and click on Edit Profile in the drop down. This will allow you to make changes to name, email address, and password. On our mobile site, use the hamburger menu and tap on Your Account to be redirected to a menu where you can select Edit Profile.

How do I look up a previous order/receipt?

To view a previous order, simply login to your account and visit your order history. If you do not have a Murdoch’s account, please refer to your order confirmation email.

How can I pay for products on Murdochs.com?

We accept debit and credit cards issued by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, prepaid debit and credit cards, and Murdoch's gift cards as payment.

For prepaid debit or credit cards, you will need to have your billing address registered with that specific card vendor.

Can I pay with Paypal?

Currently, we do not accept Paypal as an option for payment.

Does Murdoch's offer a quantity pricing discount for a large order of the same item?

Yes, it is possible to get a quantity price discount on select brands. Contact customer service by emailing your request to customerservice@murdochs.com. Once we receive your request, we will see if the option is available, and get back to you with more information as soon as we can.

Are additional financing options available for shopping at Murdoch's?

Yes, customers that shop at our Murdoch’s retail locations have additional financing options. For details about these options, please visit our Financing Page.

Is it possible to place an order on Murdochs.com using a credit card issued in a different country?

At this time, we can only accept credit cards issued by a U.S. bank on Murdochs.com. International customers are welcome to shop our retail store locations and use their country issued credit cards to make purchases.

Are there shipping charges for online orders?

Yes, for orders under $99, we have a flat-rate shipping fee of $8. For orders over $99, we are happy to provide free shipping. However, larger items may require a shipping surcharge. Why am I being charged extra shipping?

Some large and/or heavy items incur surcharges. These charges are determined by weight and dimension, and cannot be waived. To learn more, see our Shipping Policy Page.

How do I know when my order has shipped?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from us stating that your order has shipped. This email will contain tracking information so that you can track the progress of your order.

How long will it be before my order ships?

Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Does Murdochs.com ship orders on the weekends?

murdochs.com follows UPS and USPS shipping days, which are Monday thru Friday. There are no weekend shipments.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We strive to get your order to you quickly. Please note that it typically takes 1 to 2 business days to process your order, and that processing times may vary between several hours and several business days.

Orders shipped via Ground Shipping are typically in transit 1-7 business days. Orders shipped via 3-Day Select Shipping are typically in transit 3 business days. Orders Shipped via Overnight Express or Overnight Saver arrive within 1 business day of being picked up by the shipping carrier.

Be aware that orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

If you have any concerns or questions about your order arriving on time or the shipment method that will be used, please call customer service center at 855-232-9104 (option 1), BEFORE you place your order.

Where does my order ship from?

We currently ship out of 16 of our 31 stores. We aim to ship most, if not all, of your order from one location— preferably the store that is closest to you. Please be aware that your order can ship from different store locations, and you may receive multiple packages. If this happens, you will NOT incur additional shipping charges.

Does Murdochs.com ship to countries outside of the U.S.?

At this time, Murdochs.com can only ship to addresses within the continental United States, which excludes Hawaii and Alaska.

What carrier will deliver my order?

Your order ships to you via UPS and UPS SurePost®. When checking out, please be sure to include both your physical address and PO Box address, if you have one.

I live in Alaska or Hawaii, why can’t I find my state in the drop-down menu during the checkout process?

Currently, murdochs.com does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. We do accept payment methods with billing addresses in Alaska or Hawaii. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

How do I return a product?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, simply fill out the return form that came with your items, and return them to us. Please see our Return Policy for more information.

Can I return a product I purchased online to a Murdoch’s store?

Yes, orders placed on Murdochs.com can be returned online or at any of our retail locations. Please see our Return Policy or more information.

Can I exchange an item I purchased for an item of the same price?

Unfortunately, we are not able to do direct exchanges. You will need to place a new order for the replacement item. If you would like assistance, please call our Customer Service team at 855-232-9104, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM Mountain Time.

Can you refund to a gift card?

We are not able to refund to a gift card online. If your situation is unique, please contact customer service to discuss your options. You can reach our Customer Service team at 855-232-9104, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM Mountain Time.

Can I return an item I purchased in a store to Murdochs.com?

No, our online store is not able to accept returns made in one of our retail locations. Please contact the store you originally purchased the item from to discuss your return options.

How much do you charge to return an order placed online?

There is no fee to return the product. However, if you opt to use the prepaid return shipping label that was included in your order, $8.00 will be deducted from the refund amount to cover the cost of return shipping.

How can I buy a gift card?

Murdoch's gift cards can be purchased online or at any retail location.

May I return a gift card?

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. If you are unhappy with any purchase made using a gift card, please refer to our Return Policy to view your options.

How are gift cards shipped?

Gift cards purchased online are shipped from our Bozeman, MT location via First Class mail. Please allow 10-15 days to receive your gift card.

Can you refund to a gift card?

We are not able to refund to a gift card online. If your situation is unique, please contact customer service to discuss your options. You can reach our Customer Service team at 855-232-9104, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM Mountain Time.

How do I check my gift card balance?

To check the balance of your gift card, please visit our gift card balance checker or call our Customer Service team at 855-232-9104, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM Mountain Time.

Can Murdoch’s gift cards be used online?

Yes, simply enter your gift card information during checkout.

Do Murdoch’s gift cards expire?

Murdoch's gift cards do not expire. If a gift card has not been used within three years of previous activity, we are required to send those funds to the State of MT as unclaimed property. If you still have the gift card, and it's funds were sent to the State of MT, we can give you a replacement gift card.
